First, decide on where it will attach; IV pole, bed rail, or desk edge. Then, loosen clamping unit and position horizontally for desk edge or bed rail and vertically for IV pole or bed rail.
Then, simply click the unit down to a neutral position or up into its working position, ready for use!
And, you can even move the direction of the top tray to either a long or short-sided direction! Simply loosen the tray tightening knob, and move the tray into the desired position and re-tighten knob.
